  • Verified gross mass for a container

    VGM DE Verifiziertes Bruttogewicht für einen Container Freight order

    The verified gross mass (VGM) of a container in an ocean freight booking: its accurate total weight including goods, packaging and container tare weight, as required under SOLAS. It is entered on the container's Quantities tab together with who weighed it, when, where and by which method.
