Which Fiori launchpad app runs transaction /SCMTMS/PAGE_LAYOUT?

In the SAP Fiori launchpad, transaction /SCMTMS/PAGE_LAYOUT runs as “Define Page Layouts for Carrier Selection, Define Page Layouts for Delivery Creation, Define Page Layouts for Transportation Cockpit, Define Page Layouts for Transportation Proposal”, a Web Dynpro app: the classic SAP TM screen, opened from the SAP Fiori launchpad. There is no separate native Fiori replacement: the launchpad tile opens the same transaction screens.

  • Transportation cockpit The central app for manual planning in SAP TM. Planners assign transportation demands (freight unit stages) to capacities (equipment types in the Public Cloud edition) and thereby create freight orders or freight bookings.
  • Page layouts A page layout determines which buttons, functions, levels and hierarchies are shown in the Transportation Cockpit, Carrier Selection and Delivery Creation UIs.
  • Profile and layout set A combination of profiles and a page layout used to start the transportation cockpit, for example a planning profile and several selection profiles.
  • Carrier selection The function that assigns suitable carriers to subcontractable documents such as freight orders or freight bookings, manually or automatically.
  • Delivery creation TM can trigger the creation of outbound, inbound and customer returns deliveries in Logistics Execution.
  • Delivery proposal A proposal for inbound or outbound deliveries that TM creates from planning results and sends to SAP ERP or Logistics Execution, where the deliveries are created.
  • Transportation proposal A set of alternative planning results that the VSR optimizer generates for a selected freight unit, from which the planner chooses one.
